With their World Cup qualifying campaign struggling, Nigeria must secure maximum points from both matches to revive their chances.
The Super Eagles sit second from bottom in Group C with just three points from four matches.
Rwanda leads the group with seven points, ahead of South Africa and Benin, who also have seven but trail on goal difference. Lesotho holds fourth place with five points, while Zimbabwe sits at the bottom with two.
Alloy Agu urged the players to treat the upcoming matches with utmost urgency, as if their careers depended on it.
He encouraged the players to secure all three points against Rwanda in Kigali.
He said: “The two matches are crucial games that will determine the fate of the Super Eagles as far as the 2026 World Cup qualifiers are concerned.
“I expect the players to approach the games as if their lives depend on it because Nigeria must qualify for the World Cup. I am very optimistic that the Super Eagles will subdue Rwanda and Zimbabwe even though it won’t come easy.
“All our matches must be approached like a cup final at this point. No room for excuses again.”
