The 24-year-old played a crucial role in Atletico’s run of winning games, helping the Rojiblancos to 15 points from their first five games in the league where they stand third, level on points with leaders, Barcelona.
The versatile Nigerian forward was on fire last month, scoring five goals and providing two assists in four games, including a hat-trick against Madrid CFF, leaving fans stunned with her dazzling display.

Ajibade scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 35 games for Victor Martin’s team, and she was voted player of the season after scoring eight goals in the Nigerian female youth league, saving Robo Queens from relegation.
The following year, Ajibade joined Norwegian side, Avaldsnes IL, on a two-year deal before joining Atletico in the winter transfer window of 2021, and she’s grown from strength to strength with the Spanish side, winning the Copa De La Reina, the Women’s Cup, and SuperCopa Femeni. Her contract with Atleti runs till the summer of 2025.
