Belgian forward Dodi Lukebakio praises Chidera Ejuke’s performance at Sevilla

Following his move to Sevilla during the summer transfer window, Nigerian forward Chidera Ejuke has been impressing his teammates, particularly Dodi Lukebakio. Ejuke, who previously played with Lukebakio at Hertha Berlin, has been lauded by the Belgian winger for his contributions to the team.

Before joining Sevilla, Ejuke had already built a reputation as a top dribbler. At his previous clubs, he was consistently one of the best dribblers in the league.

Initially struggling for playing time, Ejuke’s fortunes have turned around in recent weeks. He scored his first goal for Sevilla three weeks ago, helping them defeat Valladolid. With his recent performances, Ejuke seems to have secured a place as the first choice on Sevilla’s left.

“Ejuke is giving us a lot of joy and I’m happy for him, he’s very important for us and I hope he continues like this,” Lukebakio said, as reported by Estadio Deportivo.

“We’ve already played together in Berlin and being able to do so now in a great club like this is different and special. We try to support each other, always wanting to give our best on the pitch. We’re going to work to score more goals and thus help the team to stay at the top of the table.”

Currently sitting in 12th place, Ejuke will be looking to help Sevilla climb up the La Liga table with his dribbling skills and partnership with Lukebakio.
