Brain BurstBreaking: CAF Selects Two Nigerian Referees for Togo Match

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected two Nigerian referees to officiate at the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Championship, as reported by Afrosport.

The two officials are Abdusalam Kazzim, a centre referee, and Mahmoud Yakubu, an assistant referee.

The duo of Kazzim and Yakubu are not the only Nigerian contingents at the zonal tournament as the Flying Eagles are one of the seven countries competing in the WAFU B U20 Championship.

The defending champions, who are vying for a ticket to participate in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), are drawn in Group B with Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire.

Tournament hosts Togo will lock horns against Ghana, Benin and Niger in Group A.

The Championship will be held between October 17 and 31.
