D’banj Drops Fifth Album ‘The Entertainer: D’Sequel’

Nigerian singer, songwriter and entertainer D’banj has successfully delivered his anticipated album titled “The Entertainer: D’Sequel.”

As the name implies, ‘The Entertainer: D’Sequel’ is a sequel to his groundbreaking 2008 project of the same name, which placed him as one of Africa’s biggest music stars.

This album work serves as his fifth studio album work over two decades in the music industry, moreover, this also celebrates his journey thus far.

With D’banj showcasing his artistry growth and perfection, the album is a perfect blend of Afrobeats and global sounds, with collaborations from a diverse range of artists.

Having put much effort into the ground, the Kokomaster collaborated with Grammy award-winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese icon Awilo Logomba, American star Akon, South African megastar DJ Maphorisa, and Nigerian super talents like Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chechi Sarai.

Following the success of this album, D’banj is also embarking on a series of live performances and fan engagements to celebrate the album’s release. This also includes intimate concerts, meet-and-greet events, and mentoring sessions, allowing him to connect with his fans on a personal level.

Finally, the album is a bodywork of 13 vibrant tracks which solidifies his position in the African music industry.
