Nigeria’s Under-20 men’s national team, the Flying Eagles, are in for a tough ride as they seek to secure a spot at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, BrainBurst reports.
The Flying Eagles have been pitted against two other African heavyweights, Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire, in a grueling Group B ahead of the 2024 U20 WAFU B Championship.
The draws, held on Thursday, have placed the 2011 champions in a three-team group ahead of the tournament set to take place in Togo next month.
In other news, Group A comprises four teams, with hosts Togo drawn alongside Niger, Ghana, and Benin Republic.
