Influencer launches crowdfunding to help UNILORIN graduate kidnapped on NYSC trip to Port Harcourt

A well-known influencer has initiated a crowdfunding campaign to help raise funds for the release of a University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) graduate who was kidnapped while traveling to Port Harcourt for her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

The kidnappers are reportedly demanding a ransom of ₦2.5 million for her release.

The influencer shared the urgent news on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), asking for the public’s assistance in raising the ransom money and securing her freedom. He included an image of the victim and expressed concern about the limited time to meet the ransom demand.

In his post, he stated: “Rhoda, a graduate of UNILORIN, was kidnapped on her way to Port Harcourt for NYSC. The kidnappers are asking for ₦2.5 million.”

He added, “I don’t know how much time we have left, but I trust we can pull this off. Here is her father’s number. Raise am 👏👏👏.”
