Lazio manager provides update on Dele-Bashiru’s injury

Lazio manager Marco Baroni has provided an update on Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s injury, sustained during their Serie A clash against Venezia. 

Dele-Bashiru suffered an ankle sprain following a collision with Alessio Zerbin late in the first half. 

He was assisted off the pitch by Lazio’s medical team, with new signing Rade Belahyane coming on as his replacement in the 41st minute.

“We need to assess his condition. He felt pain after taking that shot. With matches every two or three days, recovering in time for the next game will be challenging,” Baroni told DAZN.
