NPFL bans Niger Tornadoes home stadium
The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has ordered Niger Tornadoes to vacate their home ground, Bako Kantogora Stadium, due to its deteriorating condition.

Citing the poor state of the pitch, the NPFL has instructed the club to select an alternative venue for their home matches. However, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, which Tornadoes had designated as their backup option, also requires significant pitch maintenance.

As a result, the club must choose another approved NPFL stadium for their home games.

Niger Tornadoes will only be permitted to return to Bako Kantogora Stadium once the pitch and other facilities meet the required standards for television coverage.
