NSF: South-South teams arrive Edo for zonal elimination

Teams from the South-South region have arrived in Edo State for the 2025 Zonal Elimination, scheduled to take place from February 24 to 28.

Participating states—Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River—will join hosts Edo to compete for National Sports Festival (NSF) qualification in various disciplines, including football, abula, handball, cricket, basketball, beach volleyball, hockey, and volleyball.

The and female teams will battle in a round-robin format, with the top teams advancing to the knockout stage, followed by the semi-finals and finals.

The winners and runners-up in each sport will secure a place to represent the South-South zone at the NSF in Ogun State.
