The 28-year-old shot-stopper was the standout performer at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium in Durban, making a string of crucial saves to secure a valuable point for his team.
Despite Richards Bay dominating proceedings with seven shots and eight corners, Nwabali remained resolute. He denied key attempts from Justice Figuareido, Moses Mthembu, Keegan Allan, and Ntlonelo Bomelo, ensuring his side kept a clean sheet.
The highlight of his performance came in the 17th minute when Figuareido unleashed a curling effort from outside the box, seemingly destined for the top corner. However, Nwabali produced a stunning save, pushing the ball to safety and keeping Chippa United in the game.
