Osimhen grabs brace in Galatasaray’s win over Rizespor

Victor Osimhen netted a brace in Galatasaray’s 2-1 triumph over Rizespor at the Çaykur Didi Stadium on Monday night. 

Despite both teams creating scoring opportunities, the first half ended goalless.

Osimhen broke the deadlock in the 47th minute. 

The hosts responded swiftly, with Gambia international Ali Sowe leveling the score just seven minutes later.

Osimhen, however, sealed the victory with the winning goal four minutes from time.

The Nigeria international featured for the full duration of the fiercely contested match. 

The striker has now netted 12 goals in 18 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds this season. 

Galatasaray sit atop the standings with 63 points from 23 games.
