Osimhen Ready To Give Best For Galatasaray

Victor Osimhen has declared he is ready to give his best for Galatasaray, reports Completesports.com.

Osimhen made his debut for the Turkish Super Lig champions against Caykur Rizespor on Saturday night.

Galatasaray won the contest 5-0 with the Nigeria international providing an assist.

“First of all, I am very happy to be here. I came to this city for the first time. We met with our fans. What we experienced was a great feeling. It was a very important match,” Osimhen told the club’s official website

“It was very valuable that we won the first match with a big difference. I am happy here. We want to continue like this and win every match.

“When I heard the interest during the transfer period, it was very important for me. I knew how big Galatasaray was, how big the fan base was. It was exciting for me to come here. There was no question mark in my head. When I came here, it was the same as I thought. I know how important every match is. I will fight as much as I can.”

Osimhen also spoke about his rivalry with the likes of Mauro Icardi, Michy Batshuayi and Burak Yilmaz.

“I knew that Galatasaray was a very good team before I came. I will try to contribute as well. There is no competition between us and the center forwards. Icardi is a legend of this game. Batshuayi is also a very important and deadly forward. I definitely have things to learn from both of them. I think we will cooperate with them,” has added.

“It was one of the exciting things when we came here. I think we will take this team much further by working hand in hand. We will compete in both the Super League and the Europa League. We will complement each other’s quality. Everyone has different characteristics. I think we will take this team much further.”
