Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been in top form in the English Premier League, and are currently third in the English top-flight.

Ex-Watford striker, Troy Deeney, who now works as a pundit with BBC, picked his Team of the Premier League matchday ten, which ended with Fulham’s win over Brentford at the Craven Cottage last night.

In goal, Deeney opted for former Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale. The 26-year-old made several saves to keep things tight at the back as Southampton nicked a 1-0 win over Everton.

Bournemouth’s Adam Smith took up the right-back position after he helped his side secure three points against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Radu Dragusin and Southampton’s Taylor Harwood-Bellis complete the centre-back pair, while Ola Aina seals the left-back spot after scoring a stunner in Nottingham Forest’s 3-0 win against West Ham United.

“Aina was great in the win over West Ham – he has been for a few weeks and has been unfortunate to miss out. I like to give credit to people who have showed they can do it over a period of time,” Deeney told the BBCabout the Nigerian defender.

Moises Caicedo’s volley goal against Manchester United sees him included in Deeney’s midfield and he’s joined by Wolverhampton Wanderers’ João Gomes who put in a lot of work to help Gary O’Neil’s side secure a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace, scoring his side’s second goal. Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook completes the midfield trio.

In attack, Troy Deeney picked Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon as the right winger, after the Englishman provided an assist for Aleksandar Isak in his side’s 1-0 win over Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

On the left side, Antoine Semenyo sealed his place in the Team of the week after scoring in Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Manchester City, and the team is completed by Dominic Solanke who scored a brace in Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Aston Villa.

Ola Aina has been one of Forest’s most consistent performances this season, in defence and in attack, and his inclusion is a testament of his good work.
