Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer, TG Omori, popularly known as Boy Director, has assured fans of his return in 2025 despite ongoing health challenges.
Omori, who underwent a kidney transplant on August 26, 2024, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, shared an update about his recovery journey.
Although the kidney transplant, for which his brother was the donor, was unsuccessful, Omori remained optimistic. In a series of tweets on Monday, the acclaimed director emphasized the importance of mental resilience during tough times.
Sharing a photo of himself, he wrote, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls. Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”
His message of determination and hope has inspired fans and colleagues alike, as they rally behind him in his battle for recovery.
