UCL: ‘We Failed To Neutralise Him’ – Dortmund Boss Hails Onyedika

Borussia Dortmund manager Nuri Sahin admitted that his side failed to neutralise Raphael Onyedika in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Club Brugge.

Dortmund thrashed the Belgian Pro League champions 3-0 in the game.

Onyedika put up a good display in the thrilling encounter.

The scoreline was tied at 0-0 until the last 15 minutes before the visitors scored three goals.

Jamie Gittens bagged a brace for last season’s runners-up, while Guinea international Serhou Guirassy got the other goal.

Sahin showered encomium on the Nigeria international for his exemplary performance.

“We knew that Club Brugge’s game runs through Raphael Onyedika, but we failed to neutralize him,” Sahin said during his post-match reaction.
