Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has taken to social media to criticize the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, who also happens to be the uncle of fellow Nigerian artist Davido. The criticism came after a video of Governor Adeleke dancing in public went viral, which did not sit well with Wizkid.
Wizkid, known for his usually calm and low-key demeanor, expressed his disapproval in a series of posts on his official social media page via the platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
In what appears to be a subtle dig, Wizkid indirectly targeted Davido, making several remarks that many interpreted as aimed at the singer.
While Davido has remained silent and has yet to respond, Wizkid escalated the situation by taking a jab at Governor Adeleke, mocking him for dancing in public and sharing a video of the incident.
Wizkid wrote: “When you see people raised by their family, you can tell! You won’t catch my uncle dancing online!”
The post has sparked widespread backlash on social media, with many users criticizing Wizkid for his comments.
