Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has stirred controversy after launching a tirade against fellow artist Davido and his uncle, Ademola Adeleke on social media.
The outburst occurred in a series of posts on his official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday afternoon.

Wizkid, in a fiery rant, targeted Davido and his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, with harsh words and curses. The singer’s words have drawn significant attention from fans and followers, igniting a heated debate across social media platforms.
Though the reason behind his outburst remains unclear, Wizkid called Davido several derogatory names and issued a scathing insult, saying: “E no go better for Davido and him feelings!” This was in response to a post made by a social media user, indicating that the tensions between the artists have escalated recently.
When shown a video of him and Davido at a club, Wizkid accused Davido of constantly seeking his attention. He claimed that Davido had gone out of his way to meet him at the event, writing: “Want what? He looks for me everywhere I go like the fanboy he is! This was an event for one of my DJs, Skyla, in Lagos! We no invite dem!”
Wizkid also took a dig at Governor Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, mocking him for his frequent online dancing. This jab at the governor reflects the intensity of the feud and adds another layer to the ongoing saga between the two artists and their respective circles.
He added: “When you see people wey dem papa and family train, you go know! You don’t see my uncle dancing online!” His remarks not only target Davido but also question the legitimacy of the Adeleke family’s public persona, stirring further controversy and discussion among fans.
