The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the date for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers, reports BrainBurst.
CAF revealed that the draw for the CHAN 2024 qualifiers will be held on Wednesday, October 9, at the institution’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt at 2pm local time (12pm Nigerian Time).
The tournament will be held in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, between February 01 – 28, 2025.
For the qualifiers, two rounds of games will be played with each team playing home and away.
According to CAF, the first round of qualifiers will be played on the weekend of 25 – 27 October and 01 – 03 November 2024, with the second round confirmed for 20 – 22 December and 27 – 29 December 2024.
