Nedu Wazobia refutes claims of being fired from ‘Honest Bunch’ podcast

  Amid an ongoing wave of controversy, renowned Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia has publicly addressed and debunked the circulating claims that he was dismissed from the widely acclaimed podcast, The Honest Bunch. The speculation surrounding his departure had sparked intense discussions online, prompting Nedu to set the record straight.
  Speaking candidly at a recent press conference, Nedu Wazobia took the opportunity to clarify that his exit from The Honest Bunch was purely a personal decision and was in no way a forced removal. He expressed that he made this choice voluntarily in order to safeguard the integrity of the podcast amidst the personal attacks and controversies surrounding his name.
  During his statement, Nedu emphasized his reasons for stepping away from the show, stating that he believed it was necessary to ensure the continuity of the podcast without distractions.
  “Let me straighten something out—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch, I was never fired. I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on. I was not fired,” he firmly stated.
  Additionally, Nedu defended the reputation and neutrality of the podcast, stressing that the opinions expressed during the show are strictly those of the invited guests and do not reflect the stance of the platform itself. He reiterated that everyone has the right to their own opinions and perspectives, and the podcast serves as an open space for diverse discussions.
  “Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not of the show itself. Everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to report,” he added, reinforcing the show’s commitment to free speech and open dialogue.
  His statement comes in response to serious allegations made by controversial online personality VeryDarkMan, who accused Nedu of engaging in inappropriate behavior by allegedly demanding sexual favors from women in exchange for roles. Furthermore, VeryDarkMan claimed to have a list of celebrities with whom Nedu had allegedly been involved. These accusations quickly gained traction, fueling speculation and heated discussions across social media platforms.
  Despite the widespread allegations, Nedu has chosen to maintain his composure, opting not to engage in public disputes or social media battles regarding the claims. Instead, he addressed the issue with a composed and professional demeanor, making it clear that he does not partake in online feuds or back-and-forth exchanges.
  Addressing the situation directly, Nedu stated:
  “A lot of things have been going on left, right, and center, but I am going to say this—I am not one to indulge in petty exchanges of words. That’s not who I am. It has never been my style, and it will never be my style to jab words with people on social media.”
