Wunmi reveals she wrapped her son in a plastic bag to escape her husband’s family

The widow of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad Aloba, Wunmi, has opened up about the heartbreaking events that unfolded after her husband’s passing, including her desperate escape from her husband’s family with their son, Liam.

  In an emotional interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Wunmi shared shocking revelations about the role her father-in-law played in the aftermath of her husband’s tragic death and how it complicated the entire situation.
  According to her, on the night Mohbad passed away, his manager was determined to ensure that the nurse who had administered the wrong injection on him was arrested immediately. However, her father-in-law, Mr. Aloba, instructed that the nurse should not be taken into custody, a decision that deeply troubled her.

She further revealed that she was not informed about her husband’s burial and only found out through social media the following morning. In shock and disbelief, she rushed to the burial grounds to confirm the devastating news herself.
  Wunmi also recounted the terrifying moment when an attempt was made to take her son, Liam, away from her. She described how, in a desperate bid to protect him, she had no choice but to wrap her baby in a plastic bag to escape unnoticed.
  In her own words, she said:
  “I know that there was a nurse involved in my husband’s demise and that he reacted to an injection. On the night that he died, my father-in-law came to our house, and the nurse narrated what happened to him. My husband’s manager wanted to get the nurse arrested that night, but my father-in-law said they should let her go.”
  “The following day, I only got to know through social media that they were planning to bury Mohbad. Nobody informed me. When I rushed there, they tried to take Liam away from me. I had to wrap him in a plastic bag just to escape with him.”
  “It is painful to hear that the autopsy result was inconclusive. This happened just because my father-in-law rushed to bury him. I know for a fact that Mohbad sustained injuries from his fight with Prime Boy. I can’t accept an inconclusive result because Liam will grow up to ask me questions one day.”
