NPFL: Nasarawa United stun Remo Stars, Enyimba hold 3SC In Aba
League leaders Remo Stars suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 26 clash at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday. 

Anas Yusuf netted the decisive goal in the 25th minute of the hard-fought encounter, handing Nasarawa United a crucial victory.

Yusuf’s goal marked his 14th of the season for the Solid Miners. 

In Aba, nine-time champions Enyimba played out a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars. 

Sodiq Ibrahim fired the visitors ahead in the 16th minute but Ekene Awazie leveled for the hosts just three minutes before halftime. 

Despite failing to win in their last four league matches, Shooting Stars remain in second place with 42 points.

Abia Warriors moved to third position after they held wasteful Kwara United to a 0-0 draw in Ilorin.

The match between Heartland and El-Kanemi Warriors at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri also finished in a goalless draw. 

Veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali netted the winning goal from the penalty spot seven minutes from time, leading Kano Pillars to a 1-0 victory over Akwa United at Sani Abacha Stadium. 

Niger Tornadoes achieved the only away win of the day, defeating Lobi Stars 2-0 in Bauchi, with goals from Daniel Akanbek and Victor Okoro for the Ikon Allah Boys. 

Defending champions Rangers cruised to a 3-0 win against Sunshine Stars in Enugu, thanks to first-half strikes from Bashir Usman, Joel Odoh, and Kingsley Maduforo.
